Fall is a pretty good time to put a new belt through its paces.

For the Fall Heritage Belt Collection, we picked three Horween leathers with very different personalities: Java Waxed Flesh, Cypress Moc, and Cypress Raisin Cherry. Each one starts out looking different and will develop its own character as you wear it.
These are built from two layers of genuine Horween leather, glued and stitched together for a belt that’s thick, substantial, and built for everyday abuse. The leather is finished with clean, beveled and burnished edges, while solid brass hardware keeps the whole thing simple and classic. The buckle is attached with Chicago screws, so swapping it out is easy if you want to change things up down the road. Seven oblong holes give you plenty of room to dial in the fit.
The real fun, though, is watching the leather change.

Java Waxed Flesh is a hefty 8–9 oz per layer, making the finished belt roughly 16–18 oz of leather. It’s thick, substantial, and brings plenty of texture and attitude to the table.
Cypress Moc and Cypress Raisin Cherry come in at a slightly more civilized 6–7 oz per layer, putting the finished belts around 12–14 oz. Still plenty of leather, just a little less of a tank. And don't be fooled, this stuff is tough.
Whichever leather you choose, you're starting with two layers of Horween and ending up with a belt that's built to take some abuse. Wear it hard, put some miles on it, and let the leather pick up the marks, darken, soften, and develop a patina that belongs to you.
