Heavy Duty Work Belt - Bridle London Tan
Our thickest, toughest work belt, now in Hermann Oak London Tan Bridle. It’s the first Hermann Oak leather in our lineup. Hermann Oak has been tanning leather in St. Louis, Missouri since 1881. Their bridle is vegetable tanned and then hot-stuffed with oils and waxes, which gives it a dense, firm feel and a rich tan color that deepens with wear.
Each belt is cut from a single slab of 13-5 oz bridle leather. It’s built for hard use, daily wear, and long-term durability, and it’s finished with beveled, burnished edges and our heaviest solid brass buckle.
We make it in Spokane, Washington. The belt is designed to reduce stretch, resist warping, and give long-lasting support when you’re carrying tools or gear. It starts stiff, breaks in over time, and develops character with use.
A light white wax bloom may show on the surface when the belt is new. That’s normal for bridle leather, and it buffs off with a dry cloth.
