Sizing
- Length: Our boots are longer than mass-produced footwear. With that in mind, we recommend going down a 1/2 size from your Brannock length. Example: If you normally wear size 12D, we recommend a size 11.5D for your Nicks.
- Width: In addition to length, consider the width of your feet when selecting boots, as most brands' boots are built with the standard D width. This measurement is typically more precise with a tailors tape rather than a Brannock device. Nicks offers a wide range to help fit your feet, with A-FF widths available in many of our lasts.

Officer - Quick Ship!
My first Nicks boots and definitely not the last. I always worry that they only look good online, but the officer is equally stunning in person. Build quality is incredible!! Shipped and arrived within the quick ship time frame! Nicks sure are very confident with how durable their boot build is as they ship them in unprotected boxes :)). Box arrived like it went through hell, the boots inside are heaven sent and pristine.
swapped the laces to flat generation laces for a more "officer" vibe.
Love this makeup! When I first started with Nick's in 2023, I went all-in for 10" boots. I still love that height, but given that I live in the hot and humid southeastern U.S., I quickly realized 10" was limiting for year-round wear. 8" became my go-to, and I've always been pleased with every pair Nick's has made. But the Officer is special with it less industrial styling cues, e.g., no heavy lug sole and no pull loop, so regardless of which leather you choose, you benefit from Nick's always robust construction, coupled with a tidier, streamlined look.
Wear to work everyday and threw some delta arches in which helped a lot. Can’t recommend enough.
Got these during one of the sales as I needed an 8” boot. Good, solid no frills boot.
